Collaboration with external employees

If you want to work with external employees, there are several possibilities.

Do you need temporary employees? We can provide you with information on the possibilities of using temporary employees, their constraints and issues related to their salary package.

Are you planning to work with self-employed persons? Such collaboration can be advantageous for both parties (in terms of remuneration and social security contributions, for example), but it can also entail risks.

The labour courts are indeed entitled to requalify a self-employed collaboration as an employment contract if there is a link of subordination between the company and the freelancer concerned, which can have serious consequences for the company (payment of indemnity in lieu of notice, remuneration arrears, etc.). To avoid such a requalification, we review your agreements and also provide you a range of recommendations (“do’s and don’ts”) to follow on a day-to-day basis.
